| Thanks so much to those of you who purchased cattle from us in the last few years. Our customer list continues to grow as more people learn about our program. We are especially pleased to have a number of repeat buyers that have been satisfied with our bulls and choose to come back for more. Selling the yearling bulls in 2005 was very enjoyable. We had several customers from whom we had not heard in several years return to purchase more bulls.
Our 2005 calves were weaned around the 1st of November and the weights are very similar to last year's calf crop. We had a very wet spring/summer/fall, which allowed us to stretch our pastures to provide good grazing. No creep feeds or supplements are used in our pastures. The calves fall predominantly into three sire groups this year. One large group is by our senior herd sire, Rito 8007. The 8007 calves have continued to perform well for us and have made wonderful seedstock. We lost 8007 this summer, so this will be the last large group of his offspring. We do have a limited supply of semen that we will use in selective matings over the next couple of years. The other groups are by McCumber 8113 Equator 3133 and our own Gurr Lake Right Time 302. The 3133 calves have a bit more frame than our other calves, but the birth weights are lower and they have grown very well. The group we are really excited about are the sons of Right Time 302. These bulls are thick and very correct - especially those out of 8007 daughters. Bull Sales The bull calves are currently on feed. Our bulls will be fed to let them develop muscle and thickness without a lot of excess fat. We're not fattening these bulls for slaughter, but feeding them to a reasonable condition for breeding an entire season. An overly fat yearling bull will just fall apart on you in the pasture and may not last very long. We'll post updates here as the bulls develop.

| Heifer Sales
We had a very nice set of heifer calves in 2005 - including a large group of Rito 8007 daughters which will enter the herd. To honor the passing of this great bull, we will be offering two very good 8007 heifers through the 2005 ND Angus Association Select Sale on November 19th at Kist Livestock Auction in Mandan, ND. Check out the details on these heifers: |

| These two heifers are very deep ribbed, moderate framed, stand on good sets of feet and should have perfect udders. They will grow to be the type of cow that can make anyone some money. We have never sold a registered 8007 daughter. They have all been retained in our herd. This is an opportunity to add a solid maternal heifer out of a sire that has produced thick, trouble free cattle for us. 8007 has always been our leading sire for ultrasound data as well. There will be very few of these offered in the future as our supply of 8007 semen is very limited. No gimmicks, no creep feed just solid maternal genetics and a commitment to producing the best cows available.
